Release Notes for October 23rd

October 24, 2008 at 1:20 am 5 comments

Our latest release is very exciting!  While there aren’t any new features per se, we have made some great stability enhancements and did a lot of work to update our infrastructure to set the stage for improved browser support and performance.  Specifically, Firefox 3 is now officially supported with more in the works.

Also, we wanted to thank our customers.  You are extremely important to us and we especially appreciate your candid feedback and willingness to help us improve our offering.  Thanks again and please continue to share your ideas with us as this is your service.

We really want to be able to record reimburseable mileage with the time tracker. Intuit’s web based time recoreder did this. I was able to trick Time Tracker into calculating mileage as an hourly salary but then it is a taxable compensation. I need a column in the Time Tracker to set up mileage or someway to track it that is not a payroll “addition”.

Thanks Pam for sharing your feedback. We understand the importance of tracking expenses and mileage along with your time. As it stands, Time Tracker only focuses on the time tracking portion. I have noted your feedback and entered this request into our service enhancement database. Thanks for your interest in the service.

There are items showing up in TimeTracker that are NOT on my item listing in QuickBooks. I am currently using Premiere 2009 Contractor Edition but was using Pro 2008. When I use the “edit time tracker settings” the information is not updated. I need to hide or delete the erroneous items in TimeTracker. How do I do that?

What is the maximum number of entries we can add per week? I hope there is no limit as I have several attorney clients that I set up on Time Tracker. I cannot find any information in the Help areas.

Max 100 rows on the timesheet which translates to 700 time activities; for the calendar, 200 is about where it could impact performance.
